The software is bright and cool, so much can be said after the first two years. We have grown above expectation and are presently working with some 150,000 items in a handful of projects, some in an unprecedented depth of database information. What is far more important than the interface: Wikibase data can be offered in practically any language — not side by side but through the gift of data records that are the same in all these languages (our Items and Properties are presently presented in English, German and French; you can switch between these languages in the search results. We are planning to offer all our data records in multilingual (Reasonator) sheets in the future, so that even without an account you can switch languages to your preferences — one of the many milestones that are lying still ahead of us.
