Use this to state the family name. If a person has changing family names (as in the case of married women in many European languages), state both and qualify with P2 (instance of) Q16189 (maiden name) or other as needed. A P49 (or P106) qualifier can be used to date changes. Medieval names can have a place name or an occupational status as the equivalent identifier. It is here often impossible to decide whether the surname was already a family possession or not (the reason why we avoided the "family name" label. (English)
