--[[User:Olaf Simons|Olaf Simons]] ([[User talk:Olaf Simons|talk]]) 16:31, 12 April 2018 (CEST)

Werkvertrag 1: Wikibase, QuickStatements and SPARQL are ready to work

Done.

Werkvertrag 2: Matti Blume, die Illuminaten-Akten ins FactGrid bringen

Done. See: https://blog.factgrid.de/archives/884

Werkvertrag 3: Adrian Heine, Eine erste biographische Infomation erzeugende Eingabeschablone

See Web Forms and see here: Talk:Web Forms

Werkvertrag 4: Daniel Mietchen, Original Research im FactGrid zitierbar machen

Problem: The FacGrid will serve as a Wikibase Instance that will be open to "Original Research". Any claim made in the database must be able to become a micro-publication (if possible with a clear idea how it should be quoted.

What we need: A module, an input form, we can use to specify claims that are first made on our platform. See "Needed thing #4: A module to state original claims (and published research)" for a tentative model.

Werkvertrag 5: N.N., Die "Gotha Illuminati Research Base" mit FactGrid-Information speisen

Problem

The FactGrid has its first test case in "Gotha Illuminati Research Base", a conventional wiki with all its handicaps:

  • We offer numerous pages with extended lists such as:
  • Our pages on individual documents have extended meta data - as here:

The FactGrid should help us to reorganise the wiki.

  • Templates should extract database information.
  • Tables should be automatically generated.
  • Biographies can be supplanted with the help of our Reasonator instance.

The ideal solution would be a software change towards automatically generated pages - a solution in which a standard Wikidata Interface or our Version of Magnus Manske's reasonator could do all the jobs, that is: present extended tables and documents. [See https://blog.factgrid.de/archives/964 Needed thing #3: An attractive Wikibase-Interface for browsing and reading Wikibase information] for this option.

The second best - temporary solution - is to use the database wherever possible and to continue the Wiki with all its particular advantages.

The Project

The prospective candidate for the contract - a Werkvertrag with the University of Erfurt - should develop with us an idea of how we can improve the present Wiki, "The Gotha Illuminati Research Base", with the help of the Wikibase-Instance.

  • How do we supplant tables?
  • How do we feed metadata into document pages?
  • How to we inspire and generate queries prospective users can run on our data?
  • How do we transform information into visualisations with the tools available?

The candidate should be used to Wikis and interested in the Wikibase software. He or she will find the helping hands among our student assistants. The contract will be on the problem solution, not a payment per hour.

Project: Getting a richer data environment

  • We have realised that editing individual statements is possible and still quite easy on a Wikibase installation - but everything but the ideal way to cope with the medium. The Wikidata community learns how to use the database and its quiery services as it is not working on an empty platform. There are already things there to search and to connect - and to add to.
  • We need a plan how we could - with strategic wisdom - integrated larger amounts of data from
  • The project should be of interest to Wikidata as we would serve as a testcase and entry point of these data sets.
  • We would need an idea ow to mine these databases systematically (We will not be interested in the entire GND or in running a Wikidata fork. We might should think of selective inputs (like all people with particular birth years...)
  • We will need a tool to - automatically - hunt and merge double entries if we merge database information from these sources.

Sprache

--Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 19:05, 17 February 2018 (CET)

"What links here" scheint nicht richtig zu funktionieren

qid,Senwiki
Q24,Wikipedia:Wikidata/Wikidata Sandbox

--Matti Blume (talk) 17:28, 9 April 2018 (CEST)

Query helper benötigt Anpassung für Factgrid

Der Query Helper hat offenbar noch ein bisschen Heimweh nach Wikidata ;-) : SELECT * WHERE {

 SERVICE wikibase:label { bd:serviceParam wikibase:language "[AUTO_LANGUAGE],en". }
 ?Dokument <http://www.wikidata.org/prop/direct/P31> <http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q2>.
 OPTIONAL { ?Dokument <http://www.wikidata.org/prop/direct/P75> ?YNummer. }

}

--Matti Blume (talk) 16:57, 2 May 2018 (CEST)

Sollte jetzt leicht besser funktionieren. --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 19:03, 2 May 2018 (CEST)
