PhD on the novel in Europe at the Beginning of the 18th century. 1999-2002 Researcher and co-author of the Bertelsmann commissions report ''Bertelsmann im Dritten Reich'' with an ensuing project on corruption in Germany's book trade during the years of World War II. 2006-2009 teaching position at the Universiy of Oldenburg.
