Schoenberg, 81, of Longboat Key, FL, died on May 7, 2014.Born in New York City; University Of Pennsylvania BA 1953, MBA Wharton 1956; US Army Signal Corp 1953-55; Founder and CEO AGS Computers, Inc. which was acquired by NYNEX in 1988; President of ITAA, the computer services trade association formerly ADAPSO; held directorships in numerous public and private software development companies including MERISEL, GTSI, SUNGUARD Data Systems, and CampusWorks, Inc; Served on numerous educational and institutional boards including American Business Council, St. Barnabas Hospital, Babbage Institute, Dickinson College and U of Pennsylvania Libraries. Survived by his wife Barbara Brizdle, sons Douglas and Eric Schoenberg, daughter Julie S. Jacobs, and 7 grandchildren.
