Continuation of The Lover's Week: or, The Six Days Adventures of Philander and Amaryllis (London: E. Curll/ R. Francklin, 1718). The situation of Philander and Amaryllis after their escape from London offers, however, only the frame in which p.7-106: Calista relates her escape with Torismond, a story in which p.29-74 the servant Isabella's story is included. The new histories offer new versions of an escape motivated by love. The conflicts and the intrigues are relatively conventional. (English)
