This is very useful in order to make use of Q# for individuals instead of P#. Thus instead of "Compiled by" (P317) one can point to "Compiler"(Q394351). This will obviate the necessity of creating P# for separate roles. --Charles Faulhaber (talk) 17:45, 22 February 2022 (CET)

P445 is limited to roles in an organization. This one P587 seems to me to be broader. It can be used for, e.g. compiler, presenter, introducer, collaborator, coordinator.

Some of these already exist as P#, e.g. P24, P176, P179, P317; but it would be helpful to have a P# to group these together in a single statement when describing a print publication or a manuscript. --Charles Faulhaber (talk) 19:51, 22 February 2022 (CET)
