Diocese of Oldenburg (Holstein) (Q153248): Difference between revisions

Nach 968 gründete Kaiser Otto I. in Oldenburg ein dem Erzbistum Bremen unterstelltes Bistum für die Slawenmission, das 1066 für mehrere Jahrzehnte verloren ging. Ab 1126 wurde die Slawenmission von Bremen aus wieder aufgenommen und der Bischofssitz 1160 nach Lübeck verlegt (siehe Lübeck).
