Statements
Helmershausen stammte aus Weimar. Eine gleichnamige Familie in Weimar ist als Eigentümer des Goethe-Hauses in Weimar bekannt. Diese geriet Ende des 18. Jh. in ungünstige Vermögensverhältnisse. Die bislang wohl ungeklärte Frage ist die Provenienz des Stammbuchs, das ausweislich der Eintragungen auf Alp in Livland gewesen und wohl erst mit dem Nachlass aus dem Baltikum an den Heimatort Weimar zurück gelangte. Danach könnte das Stammbuch über die Erben oder anderswie an Aug. Hänschen als Zweitnutzer gelangt sein.
