For about 26 of the 653 students a clear identification of their birthplace was not possible: https://tinyurl.com/2ah2zqn8 The orginal wordings are added via qualifier P35.

Solving the Dates

Within the students list the dates for admission and leaving the school are mostly recorded in the format "Michaelis 1874", "Ostern 1836" or "Johanni 1854". To solve these formats into machine readable dates we decided within this project to go with the following format:

• Michaelis -> September
• Ostern -> April
• Johanni -> June
