    Family genealogies of the Kästner/Simons line have it that Michael Kästner was the son of Abraham Kästner and Anna Rosine neé Pommer. If so Abraham Gotthelf Kästner (Q23444) would have been his brother. The latter, however, stated in his autobiography (plausibly) that he was the only child.
