Durchgangslager waren Sammellager, in die Häftlinge meist jüdischer Herkunft gesperrt wurden, die in die Vernichtungslager deportiert werden sollten. Der ebenfalls dafür verwendete Begriff Sammellager entspricht sachlich dem Begriff Konzentrationslager. (German)
