Education: Private academy under the guardianship of a Mr Davis in Haverfordwest, dissenting academy under the direction of Mr John Eames
Overall: Well-off thanks to lucrative (but also loving) marriage, Parry was a polymath minister. Most of his writing was religious in nature, but being a polymath he also wrote political essays and satires, as well as some poetry. His refusal to subscribe to the 39 articles of the Church of England prevented his ascendancy, although he steadfastly maintained his religious ideology.
