Taylor was described in Read’s Journal, 9 May 1724, as ‘an eminent bookseller,reputed to be worth between 40 and 50,000 pounds’. Innys, who published at The Sign of the Princes Arms from 1711 to 1732, married Taylor’s widow in1725. (London Journal, 16 Jan. 1725.)
