on the FactGrid database — a site that might, at first sight, look like just another MediaWiki. The visual impression is not entirely mistaken. We use a Wiki for our internal communication; but our main product are, invisible at first sight, “Items” such as these three, on which we aggregate information in the form of minute standardised and machine readable statements:
Once logged in you will see an “add statement” link at the bottom of all these data sheets.
Data mining is unrestricted. All you need here is [FactGrid:Sample queries|basic SPARQL knowledge]. Whatever data you are retrieving you can download them in different formats at the [SPARQL Endpoint and continue to use them in any software environment of your choice.
