die Ziffern lassen sich nicht klar lesen 1788 ist unwahrscheinlich aber die erste Sicht, 1786 möglich, 1785 dagegen das Datum, das mit den inhaltlichen Bezügen sofort passt, denn am 18 April 1785 verließ Weishaupt Gotha ohne Abschied, und darauf rekurriert der Brief, soweit ersichtlich.
