    The diary introduces the magnetisier on the 20th with a lacuna. Bode apparently failed to understand the name properly. The ensuing sessions were conduced by the same magnetiser who was now referred to as Mr. Ferrier. The journal publication of 1788 changes this consistently to Gretsch.
