Vedd fel a kapcsolatot a szomszédos projektekkel, ha komolyabb szerkezeti változtatásokat tervezel. A Wikibase-en lehetséges tömeges szerkesztéseket futtatni, amelyek egyik napról a másikra több ezer elem szerkezetét tudják megváltoztatni. Más felhasználók visszavonhatják ezeket a szerkesztéseket, de minden bizonnyal nem lesznek boldogak ez esetben. Kérünk, hogy a FactGridet átlátható módon, mint kolléga használd. Szeretnénk, hogy

  • a valódi neved használd,
  • adj meg egy címet, amin keresztül elérhetnek a többiek
  • nyitottsággal kezeld projektjeid a FactGriden

A FactGrid elsősorban kutatási oldal. Szeretnénk kutatók és adatokkal dolgozó digitális bölcsészeti projektek számára platformot szolgáltatni a közösségi munkához.

Eltérően a legtöbb Wikimédia-projekttől, a FactGrid nem rendelkezik "nevezetességi kritériumokkal, és mi kimondottan ösztönözzük a saját kutatást, amelyet nálunk közölhetsz elsőként.

Ez viszont csak úgy lehetséges, hogy korlátozzuk a részvételt olyanokra, akik személyesen feltüntetik felelősségvállalásukat FactGrid-es működésükért akár magánemberként, akár egy kutatási projekt részeként.

Ennek érdekében arra kérünk, hogy a fiókodat valódi neveddel és elérhetőségeddel regisztráld. Ez lehet az egyetemi kutatóprojekt címe, vagy ha magánkutatóként veszel részt, a saját e-mail címed.

Ezzel együtt hálásak vagyunk hozzájárulásod átláthatóságáért: oszd meg velünk és a közösséggel, min dolgozol. Vedd fel a kapcsolatot a szomszédos projektekkel, ha komolyabb szerkezeti változtatásokat tervezel. A Wikibase-en lehetséges tömeges szerkesztéseket futtatni, amelyek egyik napról a másikra több ezer elem szerkezetét tudják megváltoztatni. Más felhasználók visszavonhatják ezeket a szerkesztéseket, de minden bizonnyal nem lesznek boldogak ez esetben. Ennél jobb választás a másokkal közösen koordinált cselekvés, ahol a többiek is láthatják a változtatás előnyeit, illetve elismerhetik az általad végzett munkát.

Az oldal nem rendelkezik külön adminisztrátorokkal, a FactGrid leginkább kutató kollégák projektje, akik nem kimondottan vannak felkészülve egy óriási kutatási platform futtatására.

— a FactGriden, amely egy Wikibase-alapon futó platform történelmi adatokhoz. Az adatbázis Q17-ként szerepel a globális Wikibase-nyilvántartásban, illetve megtalálható a DOI 10.17616/R31NJMQR címen keresztül a re3data.org oldalon.

Ha fő céljainkra tekintünk — egy ingyenes Wikibase-rendszert szeretnénk biztosítani történelmi adatok számára filled with a well furnished landscape of norm data to work with — még nagyon az elején vagyunk. Annyit viszont mondhatunk a kísérleti projekt első két éve után: A szoftver rendkívül sokoldalú és élmény vele dolgozni. A platform minden várakozást felülmúlva növekedett: 2020. április 20-ig alig 100 felhasználó csak néhány projekt keretében több, mint 150,000 elemet generált az adatbázisban, sokukat példátlan részletességű információkkal. Az igazán nagy lépések viszont még mindig előttünk állnak: 2019-ben összefogtunk a Német Nemzeti Könyvtárral (GND), és azon dolgozunk, hogy feltöltsünk a rendszerbe közel 10 millió GND- és Wikidata-bejegyzést. Érdemes felkeresni a blogunkat további részletekért a projekt számos oldaláról. Látogasd meg a projektek szekciót, hogy megismerd az egyes projekteket, amelyek elkezdték használni az oldalunkat közös kutatási platformként.

Ha még nincs saját felhasználói fiókod, elsőnek ezt tudjuk felajánlani számodra (viszont mielőtt felveszed a kapcsolatot a technikai koordinátorunkkal, olvasd el a FactGrid felhasználási feltételeit).

A jelenlegi szoftver alapértelmezett nyelve angol. Ha van fiókod, át tudsz váltani bármilyen választott nyelvre. És ami ennél is fontosabb: a szoftver képes információk előállítására gyakorlatilag bármilyen nyelven, a nyelvi gátak nem szabnak akadályt a felhasználásnak és együttműködésnek. Az összes elem és az ezeket működtető tulajdonságok képesek egyszerre működni az összes felhasználó nyelvén. Az eddig csatlakozott különféle projektek megtanították a FactGridet angolul, németül és franciául prezentálni az adatokat. Ezek közül lehet választani a SPARQL keresési felületén.

A felhasználói felület még korántsem tart ott, ahol szeretnénk. Terveink között szerepel, hogy az összes adat hozzáférhető legyen többnyelvű Reasonator-oldalakon. A keresési funkciókon szintén sok fejleszteni való van még — a SPARQL akadályt jelent az átlag internethasználónak. A Wikidata óriási vállalkozása nyújt jelenleg követendő példát, hogyan legyen hozzáférhető egy Wikibase-installáció. A GND-adatok hozzáadásával az oldal szélesebb körű használatot nyer majd. Addig is a felület egy nyugodt helyet biztosít, hogy teszteljünk a benne rejlő potenciált.
