The projects's aim is to map all biblical and Quranic names and to state the knowledge we have about the characters with precise references.

As Wikibase allows contradicting statements we will not try to harmonise the sources. We will rather try offer to offer competing chronologies and genealogies according to the various sources.

The project is so far in its initial stages. The first target is the Bible on FactGrid - every verse and every book with a Q-Number and links into German and English BibleServer.com translations. We should in a second step be able to configure different Bibles for different religions and religious denominations.

The Biblical names will need a GND matching before we can import them - this is being dealt with.
